Movie loading car
It all started with an ad at Amphicar.com classified ads. A super solid Canadian Amphicar. After many email pics a deal was struck. Brothers Dennis and Pierre Rousseau show me the car. After loading car we get a tour of Old Montreal. In a small bar Son Mike shows Renee how to hustle I mean play pool. Mike uses phone to let Mom at home all is well. After a long drive we make it to Windsor bridge. Yuck sleet and lots of truck traffic. After very little sleep it all looks blurry. We had to meet Customs and fill out a form. All of the Agents rushed Amphi to see "The Boat Car". Long ride but all went well. I am looking forward to going back. Canadian Amphi people are great. Thanks for the great memories.
I decided to go ahead and do some metal work. New quarters, trays, door skins.
This car is nearly ready for paint. Another Amphi will soon return to the
water!!.
Car looks great!!!!! And is for sale!!!
Slowly
the car takes shape. Rechromed window frames, outside door handles and
scripts. New gauges and speedometer. New splash trim and rubber. For more pics
